For this project, we wanted to create a catalogue that felt more like a sketch book or exercise book, allowing the reader to immerse themselves in the process of the work as well as the final outcome of the show. We discovered that Antony Gormley always carries a notebook in his pocket to draw and write ideas into everyday, and so we had some of these scanned and replicated them in the catalogue.

Julie Mehretu's exhibition at Kettle's Yard focused on her captivating, monochromatic prints and drawings, The Bon Ton decided to use the texture of black ink as the backdrop to the typography and included a copy of the artist's own hand print as a signature on the final page of the book.
